The DAP WCSS-230 G2 is a set of two white, 2-way, 6.5-inch ceiling speakers, one with integrated 2 x 30-watt class D amplifier, one passive, capable of playing internet music streams via ethernet and Wi-Fi. The class D amplifier drives both speakers in mono or stereo and can be connected wirelessly via Wi-Fi to any Android and iOS device. No hub is required, and multi-room configuration is possible with multiple speaker sets. It can also connect to a wired network through a standard RJ45 cable and play from internet streams.

The Smart Sonix app (available for iOS and Android) allows you to configure and stream your favourite music and radio station from any music platform, such as Spotify, Deezer, or Tuneln. It is also possible to arrange the settings for a multiroom installation. For example, you can stream different music to each speaker set and/or play sets at different volume levels.

No tools are required for installing due to a special mechanism. Thanks to the ultra-slim grille design, these speakers will be nearly invisible when installed. The grille is held in place by powerful neodymium magnets, but it is also easily detached to access the Wi-Fi connection button (WPS). Besides the streaming audio, it also has a line input to connect wired audio sources. A volume limiter limits the output to 50% power (2 x 15 watt). A 24-volt power supply is included.
